So despite yesterday’s excitement in looking forward to my workout today, I decided to take the day off. I had a tough day in the office. Martin Luther King valued hard workers, right? I celebrated at my desk, banging out a project that I just got last Tuesday. I have to present it tomorrow. Oh, should I mention that I was scheduled to be on vacation from work this week. So after putting in some efforts in the office I settled on a date with my foam roller instead of the 20 mile TT that was prescribed by Crossfit Endurance today. I was almost happy to have a stress headache and being tired when I left work. I’m secretly afraid of long sustained efforts like TTs. Long efforts suck. I’m a sprinter damn it. My idea of a TT is the Kilo. So I decided on a 30 min effort of stretching and myofascial release.
